Case Study

The Carpenters Arms

Overlooking the Chew Valley, the hamlet of Stanton Wick provides a tranquil and picturesque setting for the delightful Carpenter‘s Arms. Converted from a row of charming miners‘ cottages, the Inn has become a popular retreat over the years for those appreciating good food, fine wines, real ales and delightful en-suite accommodation.

caseStudyOne We were asked to supply 12 LCD screens and mount them on the wall. To fit in with the new contemporary and stylish décor that was planned for the rooms, only the screens were to be visible. This meant all of the wires were to be hidden in the walls to give a seamless look.

We also supplied a maintenance contract on each TV for a period of 5 years covering parts, labour and call out. We wanted to give the hotel peace of mind and ensure that any TV that we had supplied would be repaired as soon as possible to prevent any potential inconvenience to the paying guest and the hotel.

We worked with and co-ordinated other tradesmen on site such as aerial contractors, electricians and builders. This ensured that the worked was completed on time and with minimum fuss.

We received the following comment from The Manager, Simon Pledge

‘From my initial phone call to Goggle Box to arrange an on site visit right up to the final installation of our twelve flat screen televisions, everything has been hassle free. You offered an excellent extended maintenance contract & although we have only had to use this on one occasion, the speed & efficiency of your response lived up to its expectation.

I know that on the grounds of your efficiency, professionalism & competitive pricing you have made installations into two of the other pubs within Buccaneer since The Carpenters Arms, I am sure that they have been just as successful.

Finally I would like to congratulate you on your staff. I have worked in the service industry for 25 years & know how important it is to have staff that care & show a passion for their work & yours do just that, nothing has ever been to much trouble for any of them.’
